It all starts right here. A couples shoot is a fun casual catch up and a great way for us to get to know each other before your wedding day. It's also the chance to get rid of any fear of being in front of the camera, have a good laugh and put your mind at rest.
Of course, you absolutely don't have to be engaged to get some stunning photos of you and your partner. In the UK we're blessed with so many amazing locations. A trip to the coast, a walk through woods, a night on the town, the possibilities are endless.
My couples sessions typically last around 2 hours and we can visit 2 locations. All my wedding couples are entitled to a free pre-wedding session.

The wonderful Jenny & Mike were my very first couple. We had a fantastic time in local Jesmond Dene capturing these engagement shots. It's fair to say I was pretty nervous about meeting them, photographing a couple I'd never actually met in person. I know it should be my job to make the couple feel at ease and comfortable but really, they were doing all that for me! I can't thank them enough for making my job so much fun. I really can't wait to photograph their wedding next year.

The 5am alarm was well worth it when I arrived at St Mary's Lighthouse and had the place to myself. Admittedly it wasn't the stunning sunrise I was hoping for, but it was lovely to just be in the moment and watch the sun come up. Nobody else around, a hot cup of coffee and some time to sit and enjoy the moment. Not a bad way to start any day!
